Interior Tips

Creating a focal point

Tip 3. I was designing displays in my new boutique and had lots of small fragrant candles, so I decided to make an arrangement to please my aesthetic sense and my visitors.
I am sure at some time you have bought a dish, but not a clue what to do with it? Well here is my tip.
Create a pattern upon the plate by using several small candles encased in glass so that when lit the plate doesn't get messy. Make the central candle larger than the rest, so the small ones will fit around the base. Consider the colour order and the proportion of space between each one to give the most impact. This will look wonderful in entrance halls, on coffee tables, in bathrooms, almost anywhere.
If you want to light the candles, consider symetry, for instance; 1. light all the white ones 2. Light the white outer circle 3. The whole of the inner circle. 4. The whole of the outer circle etc. There are endless combinations. Just remember to replace them when used. http://www.faganbirdinteriors.co.uk/interior-tips-advice/
